# 🏁 Desk Top Racer — Update 1.0.3 arrives tomorrow, September 17!

Tomorrow the game gets an update with news on the track and plenty of quality of life in the workshop. The highlights:

## 🌦 Daily weather in races
Every day the world wakes up with a different weather, shared by all drivers: **Mild**, **Sunny**, **Rain**, **Wind**, **Fog** or **Cold**. Each weather favors one car attribute:
> ☀ Sunny → Speed
> 🌧 Rain → Stability
> 💨 Wind → Aerodynamics
> 🌫 Fog → Braking
> ❄ Cold → Acceleration
With visual effects on the track and a HUD icon showing the weather of the day. Building the right car for the weather now makes a difference!

## 🔒 Part lock
You can now lock the parts you don't want to lose. A locked part **can't be sold, dismantled, contributed to the Collection or sent to Steam**, and shows a padlock in the Inventory. Equipping and upgrading stay free.

## ☑ Multi-select in the Inventory
Check several parts at once using the box in the corner of the card (or **Ctrl+click**) and sell or dismantle them all in one batch, with the total shown in the confirmation.

## 🏳 Driver flags
Country flags now appear next to names in the championship standings, the League global Top 10 and the Radar. Names in any alphabet, with symbols or emoji, are now displayed correctly.

## 📊 Performance on the Radar
Hover over a driver on the Radar and the tooltip shows their **Performance**, so you can compare your car with your rivals'.

## 💬 Cleaner tooltips
Part and mascot cards now open next to the card or slot, never covering the item you're pointing at, both in the Inventory and in the Garage.

## ⚖ A more balanced League
Opponent search in the League is now stricter, bringing driver levels closer together in each room.
