20万年前のネアンデルタール人が使った接着剤に抗菌作用があることが判明、傷の手当てにも使われていた可能性が浮上

　約20万年前からネアンデルタール人が接着剤として使っていた「バーチタール」に、赤みや腫れ、痛み、うみなどの傷の感染に関わる黄色ブドウ球菌を抑える働きがあることを研究チームが確かめました。
