ローカライズをサポートして欲しいとの多数の声への作者からの直接の正式回答が

1.他にもたくさんのプレイヤーがあるのに、私のUIを理解できない人がfoobar2000を使う理由がわかりません。
2.私が(無給の)作業時間をかけて書いて、新しいバージョンごとに維持する価値があるとは思えません。
3.翻訳サポートは予定されていません。繰り返しますが、私の決定が気に入らなければ、他のプレイヤーを使うことも自由(そして推奨されています)。これで話は終わり。

実際には1と3がすべてなんだろうな　ローカライズとか氏ねという思想だから仕方ない

作者に理解がないなら諦めるかフォークするしかあるまい

英語万年赤点だった俺でも普通に使えるから日本語に拘らなくても良いかなと思う。

WindowsのPCM音声出力をDSDで出させるためだけにJriver買ったんだが、ChatGPTさんにfoobar2000で同じことできねーの？ って相談したら出来ますねって言われて

・foo_input_sacdとDSDProcessor と foo_out_asio+dsd をComponentsでinstall
・Playback-DSP ManagerでDSD ProcessorをActiveDSPsに追加
・...でDSDProcessor Settingsを開き、全項目でOutputをDSD256、SMD TypeをAにする
・Output-ASIO+DSDでDenon XM ASIO Deviceを選択
・Tools-DSDのOutput（per device)でType=DSDを選択　Other　で DSP Visualizationを選択
・ファイルを再生。DSD出力できているときはDSP Managerの DSD Processorの....で下部のバーが動作する。
・foo_Recordを入れてTools-Recorderでデバイスを指定。File-add Locationでrecord://を指定、プレイリストに追加されたRecording:～を再生

こうやったらマジで出来て慄く
安定性がちょっと劣るけど...俺の15000円は...

ある曲をスキップするとかできる？

foo_skip 使ってみるとか
%skip%とタグ入れると飛ばす機能もあるみたい
foo_quicktagみたいに簡単にタグ入れられるのもある

プレイヤーでもファイラでも、クッソ面倒なことしないと変更できないのが不満
foobar2000でもググって設定しないと★Rating を出せんかったし

評価機能の利便性(簡易性など)がないからじゃないの？
安易な改竄を防ぐには評価機能の流動性を落として簡易に変更できない様にすべきなんだけど
そうすると消費者側が面倒くさがり忌避傾向が増えるのは明白だろうしな

連動しないからかと
再生回数に応じて星の数を増やしていくとかあればいいのにね
評価よりプレイバックステータスの再生回数を目安にしちゃうからな
それとライブラリツリー使えばいい感じになるし

例えばこの曲の歌手は他に何かあるかな？を簡単に調べられる

類似componentと違って用意されてるフィールド以外も使えるのが良いよね
自分はタグでcomposerを使ってるからコレじゃないと不便でなぁ
ISでの一致とHASでの部分一致の条件の使い分けなんかもすぐ覚えられるし便利
