無料のメールソフトであるThunderbirdが、2023年から2024年にかけての年次報告書を公開しました。これによると、Thunderbirdは2023年に860万ドル(約12億6000万円)の寄付金を受け取ったそうです。

windows11で使ってるけど通知の既読にするボタンは受信トレイにあるメッセージにしか使えないよね
他のフォルダにフィルタで移動する設定にしてるメッセージの場合は通知が来ても既読にできずにthuderbirdが最前面になるだけ

メールを読もうとしたらOAuth2の認証を始めるけどlocalhostにリダイレクトされて失敗という

そりゃlocalhostになるけど一体どうしてこうなったのか
アプリの中でwebサービスでも動かしてる？

トークンを受け取るためにアプリの中でhttp serverが走るのはthunderbirdに限らず普通の動作

1年以上前からOutlookもGmailもOAuth2必須になったはずだけど
逆に今までどうしてたんだ

例外処理でリトライしないのは悪手
