Feed が受信不能になり、受信フォルダーには「feeds.json-corrupt」が生成されていくばかり...
Thunderbird 153.2.0esrにアップデートしたら
jsonファイルが破損してフィード受信しなくなったらしい

受信メール本文一部を選択し，返信
返信する時に一部の行を選択しておくとそれだけ引用される仕様だったらしい
それが一行だと全部引用される？というバグの話
